Allergic rhinitis is an inflammation of the nasal mucosa linked to the inhalation of allergens. Some of these substances are present in the domestic environment, such as dust mites, animal hair or mould spores. Other inhaled allergens come from the external environment: tree pollen, herbs or grasses, which are responsible for seasonal rhinitis, otherwise known as hayfever. Some allergens are linked to the work environment (flour, natural latex, wood dust etc.) or increasing atmospheric pollution.
Allergic rhinitis can be mild, or severe if it starts to affect quality of life (sleep disturbance, disruption of sports or leisure, discomfort at work or school) and depending on the severity of the symptoms.
Allergic rhinitis is reflected by three main types of ENT signs: Sneezing occurring very soon after contact with the allergen;
Clear nasal discharge, usually abundant;
Itchy nose and / or obstruction and nasal congestion.
There is often itching at the back of the palate or throat, and sometimes headaches. Some patients may also have watery eyes or conjunctivitis, olfactory disorders or bronchial symptoms. There is no fever.
Use STERIMAR Stop & Protect Allergy Response from the appearance of the first signs of allergic rhinitis.
2 sprays into each nostril, up to six times a day. 120 sprays. Non drowsy.
Suitable for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children from 3 years.
Instructions for Use: Blow the nose, one nostril at a time.
Shake the bottle before use.
Remove the protective cover.
At first use and if necessary, perform at least one to three spray(s) to start the system, with the bottle upright and spray with the tip facing upwards.
Hold the bottle upright and insert the tip into the nostril, head tilted slightly to the side of the nostril being sprayed.
Spray twice, gently inhaling the second spray.
Repeat the procedure in the other nostril.
Leave the solution to act for a few minutes without wiping the nose.
Allow excess solution to drain, then blow if necessary.
Clean the tip in soapy water, rinse and dry before replacing the protective cap.
